Mindful Monday: Out of 16 waking hours how often are you fully present?
Ok - I have a question for you...
Out of 16 waking hours how much of that time are you fully present?
A couple of hours, a couple of minutes
When you wake up in the morning, are you present as you start your day? Having a shower, eating, getting dressed?
Or is your mind already at work, and a mental checklist is running through your head telling you all of the things you have to do.
Are you present when you are:
Driving - or do you sometimes forget how you even got somewhere
Talking - or are you focused on how you will respond or what you need to do when the conversation is over
Eating - or do you gobble down your food as you sit at your desk working
A simple way to start living more in the moment is to set the intention this week to PAUSE at different times during the day and...
Take a few mindful breaths.
Believe me, it can change your life.
Instead of being like a robot on autopilot, you will start to notice things you have never noticed before - and this is when life gets exciting.
If you want to live a fulfilling life you have to be present...you will never have find peace on the outside if you don't have peace on the inside.
