Mindful Monday: Now observe your breath. You’re in the present!
A lot people think practicing mindfulness is WAY too complicated for them.
Well, surprise, surprise it’s not.
Try this today….
Anytime you become aware you’re not present you are present.
Pretty cool, right?
Stop. Hit the pause. Take 3 mindful breaths.
Because you can only observe your breath in the present moment.
You can’t observe your breath in the past or the future.
This means, every time you choose to stop and observe your breath, you are training the mind to be present and still in that moment.
It’s simple, it’s easy and most importantly it’s a choice.
You have just practiced being mindful and just trained your monkey mind to be present.
