Let's get real.
Sometimes life is hard, right?
Issues with our relationships, health, money or maybe we feel completely confused about what our purpose on this planet is.
Sometimes it feels like complete crap - like our life is falling apart and there is no way out.
And that thought of "I hate this journey. I wish I had never even started down this path of personal growth." is screaming through our head. I've been there. More than once!
And at the same time....
I know the hardest times have also been the times when I have experienced the biggest growth and transformation.
I want to share this one thing I practice when I feel a lot of emotion. It's a game-changer.
I 'LEAN' into it. What does this mean?
I get out my head (that is filled with nonstop thoughts and judgment about 'the problem')
And get into my body.
I practice staying with the feeling.
I BREATHE into that feeling. Not to push it away. But more to EMBRACE it and give it comfort.
I breathe in and think "LOVE" because that is what this emotion needs.
The fear/sadness/disappointment doesn't need judgment or to be pushed down. It wants to be seen, heard, felt and loved.
***When we stay in our head and judge the emotion or feeling - the feelings will get more intense and we will stay stuck in it longer.
Be gentle with yourself. Can you love yourself like you would a friend?
The journey has ups and downs - this is a given. Love heals. And it is available to all of us at any time.
